Subscription & billing

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, so you cancel from your iPhone's settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
  3. Choose Notebble and tap Cancel Subscription.

Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for. You can also get there from the app: Settings → Manage subscriptions → Manage subscription.

How do I restore my purchases?

Reinstalled Notebble or moved to a new iPhone? Your Pro subscription is tied to your Apple ID, so you can restore it in a few taps.

  1. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with.
  2. Open Notebble and tap the gear icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Manage subscriptions, then Restore at the top of the screen.

Restoring brings back your Pro access, not your notes. Notes and reminders are stored only on the iPhone where you created them.

How do I request a refund?

All payments are processed by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple directly — we aren't able to issue them ourselves.

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
  2. Tap I'd like to and choose Request a refund.
  3. Pick a reason, select your Notebble purchase and submit.

Pro removes every limit of the free plan. It's a monthly, auto-renewing subscription — the current price is shown in the app before you buy.

If you cancel, nothing is deleted — you keep everything you've written and simply can't go past the free limits again.

Using Notebble

Can I use Notebble for medication, health, or other critical reminders?

No. Notebble is a general productivity app. It is not a medical device and is not designed for health, safety, or other critical purposes.

  • Reminders are delivered by your device and may be delayed, duplicated, or not delivered.
  • Notes are stored only on this device, with no backup, and can be lost, for example if you delete the app or lose your phone.

Notebble must not be used for medication, medical appointments, or any other health-related reminders or notes, or for any purpose where a missed reminder or lost note could cause harm to you or others. Always keep another way to remember what matters.

This notice is shown in the Notebble app before first use. To use the app, you must accept it by pressing and holding “I understand”, which also means you agree to use the app at your own risk, agree to the Terms of Use, and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

My reminders aren't showing up

Check that notifications are allowed in Settings → Notifications → Notebble. Then open Notebble and pull down on the Reminders list — this re-registers your upcoming reminders with iOS.

Where are my notes stored? Can I sync them?

Everything is stored only on your iPhone. There's no account and no cloud sync, so we can't see or recover your notes. Deleting the app also deletes its notes and reminders.

Can I switch between freeform and structured notes?

Yes — go to Settings → Note-taking style. Switching doesn't delete anything: each style keeps its own content and it's there when you switch back.
